Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE)

Teemer MEE is a combination of Plate Type and Shell & Tube Suppressed Boiling Evaporators.

Each effect operates at a progressively lower pressure and temperature, utilising vapour from the previous effect as a heating source. The vapours get condensed in the next effect and we get pure water at the outlet of each effect.

The partially concentrated effluent in the previous effect is forwarded to the next effect for further concentration and finally to crystallisation.

Teemer MEE is available with Thermo-Vapour Re-compressor (TVR) option on availability of medium pressure steam supply. TVR increases overall energy efficiency of multiple effects Evaporation Plant.
